Day 1: Fez – Ifrane – Azrou – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Rissani – Merzouga
We will start our trip from your riad / hotel then drive south to Ifrane and Azrou cedar forest through the Middle Atlas mountains. On the way we will have few stops at Ifrane city which is known as the littel Switzerland of Morocco and the cedar forest to see the Barbary Apes.
Read MoreThen we will continue our journey through Zaida and Midelt in a bare plateau heading towards the High Atlas Mountains, after lunch we will enjoy the views of the Tizi N’talghamt pass (1907m) and the magnificent Ziz Valley adorned with Jurassic rocks. As we approach the city of Errachidia, you will see the first sights of desert landscapes of the High Atlas plateau.
Traveling through the Ziz valley full of dates palm trees to Erfoud and Merzouga desert, here we will stop first for a cup of tea with mint in a hotel, then we ride camels to a Berber camp in the Sahara sand dunes, the most beautiful desert in Morocco. The camel trek takes about 1 hr to the camp which consisting of Berber tents well prepared with mattresses, blankets and cushions as well as a restaurant and bathrooms. In the camp we will enjoy the sounds of traditional Berber music around the campfire and under the stars.
Day 2: Merzouga Desert – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley
Early in the morning we will be woken up to enjoy an impressive sunrise on the sand dunes, and after breakfast we ride our camels back to meet the driver.

Day 3: Dades Valley – Skoura – Ouarzazate- Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah – High Atlas mountains – Marrakech
After breakfast we will head towards Ouarzazte city, driving through the rose valley in Kalaat M’gouna and the route of the thousand Kasbahs.
Read MorePassing through Skoura oasis provides wonderful scenery of green dates palm trees and brown Kasbahs, then continue to enjoy the beautiful monuments of Ouarzazate or what is known as: “The Hollywood of Africa”, here we will have a chance to see the “Atlas Corporation Studios” where lots of movies were shot.
After lunch we will visit “Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah”, which recognized by UNESCO as World Heritage site; and used as a film set for many international movies such as: “Gladiator” “Lawrence of Arabia” “Kingdom of Heaven” in addition to parts of the TV show “Game of Thrones”.
We will continue our journey towards the High Atlas Mountains, passing through the spectacular Tizi n’Tichka pass (2260m), where we will pause to enjoy the gorgeous views of the mountains and visit the Argan oil cooperative. Then we will head to Marrakech where our journey ends.
