Day 1 : Marrakech – Ait Benhaddou – Boumalene Dades
After meeting you at your riad or hotel, we start our journey from Marrakech to Dades Valley. We will pick you up at 8:00 am and drive through the Haouze plateau towards the High Atlas Mountains; we will pass through Tizi n’Tichka pass that reaches an altitude of 2260 m, where we will stop to enjoy the spectacular scenery of the Atlas mountains.
Read MoreThen we drive to Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah which recognized by UNESCO as a world heritage site, and used as a film set for many international movies including: “Gladiator”, “Kingdom of Heaven” and parts of the TV show “Game of Thrones”. After we visit the Kasbah we continue our way to enjoy the monuments of Ouarzazate city known as the Hollywood of Africa, and then we will pass through Skoura oases and Kalaat M’gouna which known for the pink roses during Spring.
Our final stop for the day will be in Dades Valley where we will stay overnight in a hotel including dinner and breakfast.
Day 2: Dades Valley- Merzouga via Toudra Gorge
Today the road will lead us to Merzouga village which is known for the highest sand dunes in Northern Africa. The sand dunes are called Erg Chebbi desert.

Then we drive through several Berber villages where we stop for lunch. After that heading to Rissani once was known as Sijilmassa, here was the first stop of the caravan traders, coming from Tinbuktu in Mali.
In this town we might have the chance to visit the most traditional souk or market in the Southern Morocco, as it get busier during Sundays , Tuesdays and Thursdays. After this break, we continue our way enjoying the green palm groves of Tafilalet oasis and the black desert before arriving to Merzouga desert. We spend the night in a hotel.
Day 3: Merzouga area, culture and tradition
After breakfast in the hotel, we will go all the way round the Sahara desert via the oasis of Merzouga, the nomadic Berber families, Begaa oasis, the grave stones of Taouz village and Khamlia village where we will visit the Gnawa people (Sudanese), originally slaves brought from Sudan; in order to experience their music and lifestyle.
Read MoreAfter having a local Berber pizza either in a restaurant or with a Berber family, we will travel back to the hotel to ride camels. After a glass of tea with mint, our camel guide will lead us through the Erg sand dunes to a Berber camp in the middle of the desert. The camel trek takes about 1 hr to the camp which consists of traditional and comfortable Berber tents prepared with mattresses, blankets and cushions in addition to a restaurant and bathrooms. After dinner we will enjoy campfire with traditional Berber music under the stars.
Day 4 : Merzouga – Fez
Early in the morning, you will be woken up to see the sunrise, and taking some photos of the sun showing up over the desert. After breakfast, we start our journey to Fez.
Read MoreWe leave Merzouga desert, on route we will pass Erfoud and drive alongside Ziz Valley, after that we will cross over the High Atlas Mountains to Midelt where we will stop for lunch. Then we drive through the Middle Atlas Mountains, cedar forest of Azrou and Ifrane, the latter is known among Moroccans as the “Little Switzerland”. On the way we will stop for short breaks to enjoy the different landscapes, before arriving to Fes. Here will be the end of our journey after we make sure you reach your accommodation.
