The start of our 1-day excursion from Marrakech to Ouzoud Waterfalls is an 8:30 hotel or riad pickup. 150 kilometers north of Marrakech, you’ll soon discover why this is one of the most panoramic cascades in all of North Africa.
Arrive in a private, luxurious car early in the morning and drive north from Marrakech to the Cascades of Ouzoud, passing through landscapes covered with olive trees.
You can still see the town of Ouzoud from here. You will have some free time after you get here to explore the region on your own; if not, you may hire a local guide to show you around. As you stroll along a system of pathways that create rock bottom pools, take in the views of the waterfalls that drop for more than 110 meters, one into the other.
As you take in views of the cascades, you may eat lunch at your leisure at one of the neighborhood eateries that serves delectable tagines by the stream. You will be transported back to Marrakech, the red city, about lunchtime.
